Montage Beverly Hills Features Nightly Entertainment with Renowned Pianist Rob Gonzales

BEVERLY HILLS… Montage Beverly Hills adds new flair to evening entertainment with Rob Gonzalez, nationally known US recording artist and world class performer. Gonzalez is an extremely gifted pianist, singer, songwriter and performer and is now playing in the Lobby Lounge at Montage Beverly Hills five nights a week: Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Additionally, Gonzalez is joined by band members Andy Sanesi on drums and Steve Earnhart on bass from 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. on Saturdays.

Recalling the earthy and unembellished voice of Jackson Brown, Gonzalez mixes jazz, blues, rock, and folk reminiscent of Van Morrison. The evenings in the Lobby Lounge at Montage Beverly Hills begin with a softer approach, familiar tunes more instrumental in nature. As the evening progresses, vocals are added, both classic and original songs are performed, and guests are encouraged to make requests, gracefully twirling around the room further bringing Gonzalez’s romantic melodies to life. Many compare Gonzalez's smooth crooning vocal style to accomplished singers such as Harry Connick Jr. and Michael Bublé.

Having spent most of his music career in Los Angeles, Gonzalez played in surrounding venues such as House of Blues, Greek Theater and most recently, Mastro’s. New and old fans alike may now find him striking both key and vocal chord in the Lobby Lounge at Montage Beverly Hills, reminiscent of the legendary Bobby Short at the historic Carlyle Hotel in New York.
