Darrell Schmitt, ASID, CID, is an interior designer with 35 years of experience in the field. He received design training in Chicago, began his professional career in New Orleans, and has practiced for the last 20 years in Los Angeles. He currently heads his 17-member namesake design team in project assignments that literally have spanned the globe. Schmitt brings a uniquely artistic eye to his design work, having also been trained as a fine artist. He and his team research each locale for the projects on which they work, looking to express the cultural and artistic essence that makes each location unique.

Landscape Design
In addition to the public gardens adjacent to Montage Beverly Hills, Nancy Goslee Power & Associates has designed more than 150 public and private gardens. These include the Sculpture Garden at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, the Entrance Parkway and Site Wide Masterplan for the Los Angeles Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, and the entry parkway for Universal Studios.
